Funding for schools workshops
A very Happy New Year to everyone!
Radio 4 is my new goldmine – feeding my thoughts, ideas and generally making me desperate to get on. So I’m working with the Crossway Crisis Pregnancy centre doing workshops in schools with year 7-9 girls on self esteem, friendships, relationships and when intimate relationships go “wrong”. This has opened up a lot of doors with schools and young people alike who are crying out for this kind of work.
We need to take it further but as we’re currently doing it on a voluntary basis, we need funding to really get stuck in. If anyone can point us in the right direction that would be excellent. Plus if anyone is doing anything similar it would be good to hear about your experience etc.
Until then, it’s back to pleasing the tax man. Oh well.
