During her teaching career, Jax devised and directed many school plays and musicals, encouraging pupils to engage and widen their skill set in myriad ways, for example:
- Acting, singing and dancing
- Playing instruments as part of a live band
- Sourcing or creating sound effects

- Costume and Props Design
- Stage Management

- Directing and / or devising
A philosophy of allowing young people from all backgrounds to discover and hone their skills and knowledge, whilst nurturing their enthusiasm, has always formed the basis of Jax’s teaching practice. Her most favourite aspect of teaching is learning from those she works with!
