Engage and Attain

Workshops are designed to boost engagement and attainment in particular subject areas.  They are tailored to the needs of your staff and students and are accompanied by a Teacher’s Pack containing follow-up material and activities. Subject areas include:

  • Drama

  • Religious Studies
  • PSHE

Drama Specific

Specialist workshops for Drama and school life.  They are tailored to the needs of your school and are accompanied by a Teacher’s Pack containing follow-up material and activities. Topics include:

  • Scriptwriting
  • Bringing scripts to life
  • Unpacking the text
  • Devising plays relevant to your school/local issues/special celebrations/etc.

Teaching Drama

Workshops are also offered for staff, with specific support for those teaching drama for the first time, including:

  • Working with teachers who are new to the current Edexcel GCSE Specification, advising on Schemes of Work and techniques to support the delivery of the course.
  • Scriptwriting  and Devising
  • Portfolio / Coursework
  • Performance Exams
  • Bringing scripts to life (including encouraging a passion for “unpacking the text”, acting and delivery techniques)
