Drama and School Life

Specialist workshops for Drama and School Life are tailored to the needs of your school and are accompanied by a Teacher’s Pack containing follow-up material and activities. Topics include:

• Scriptwriting
• Bringing scripts to life
• Unpacking the text
• Devising and producing plays relevant to your school/local issues/special celebrations/etc.

Teaching Drama

These workshops are offered to teachers with specific support for those delivering the drama element of literacy and those new to teaching drama. Topics include:

• Strategies for teaching drama effectively (eg: improvisation, role-play, etc)
• Story and character exploration
• Scriptwriting and Devising
• Performance Techniques (eg: use of voice, facial expression, body language, creating mood and atmosphere, etc)
• Bringing scripts to life (including encouraging a passion for “unpacking the text”)
